Praise, Prayer + Share

On 6th February we are starting evening services at 6pm which will run fortnightly. it is entitled praise, prayer and share. there will be a time of music and singing, a time of open prayer and a time to share a song, or testimony or a story or anything anyone would like to share. it will be an opportunity to spend time together learning more about God and His word.

Since the beginning of February we have been having a time of praise prayer and share on the first and third Sunday evenings of the month. It starts at 6pm and usually lasts an hour and a half. it has been a wonderful time of praising God. We start of with some singing and after a time of tea and coffee we move into a time of sharing. It has been lovely to hear what people have to share about God and his wonderful grace, love and mercy to us. The sharing takes the form of songs, testimony, poems and bible readings. It is great to see the different ways of praising God. We then have a time of open prayer where people can pray for what is on their hearts and ask people to pray for anything they want prayer for. It is quite informal and different from the usual church format. It has been a real joy to be part of and we pray God will continue to bless the time we have together.
