On the first Tuesday of the month we
have 'Tea at the URC'.
On Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. there is the prayer meeting. Prayer Page
Our Big Breakfast for Men is held on the last Saturday at 8.30 a.m. of the month in the autumn, winter and spring. This gives us the opportunity to talk to people who would not otherwise attend a church. In the summer the breakfast is open to all, the ladies who work so hard during the winter gave a well earned rest and the relief mens' team serve these ladies and everyone else.
There is occasionally a Fellowship Meal after the church service on Sundays to which all the congregation are invited.
On Friday afternoons at 2.30 there is alternately Chess or Scrabble (see the notices).
We make our church hall available for local groups to use on most days of the week and this too is another way in which we establish links with the local community.
