MINISTER'S LETTER

Dear Friends,

As we come to the end of another year, I would like to express my very sincere thanks for your continued support of this ministry and the church.

This year has been a year of continued change, new opportunities and new ventures, whilst at the same time, we have enjoyed the stability that God gives us in His church. A particular highlight for me was the Church away day and all that came out of it. We now have different teams set up and working and already bringing us blessings; we have seen an increase in the membership of the church; we have seen new faces who have clearly decided to stay with us; we have seen an increase in the numbers in junior church. We are also now beginning to look at ways of befriending the community in new ways, for example, Bible study and fellowship links with Garson House.

What matters to me more than anything however, is that we continue to feel that we are one family. Many of us are struggling with health issues, family problems, loss of loved ones, anxiety and a sense of needing help. Let us all help each other and share with each other, as God wants us to. We can be assured of His love, and so we need to be assured of each other’s love.

Soon it will be Christmas. We recognise that the central message is one of God’s love for us. Indeed, love itself came down at Christmas in the form of Jesus. My prayer for you all, is that once again, you will experience His love in your need.

May this church be a loving home for us all and a growing beacon to those around us in our community.

Peace be yours,

Jeff
